Yes, absolutely! We are always excited to welcome new pets and their families to our clinic. Whether you’re in Aurora, Newmarket, or a surrounding community, you can call us to book your first visit or request an appointment online.

Yes. We are proud to be one of the few independently owned veterinary clinics in Aurora. This allows our team to prioritize personalized care and build long-term, trusting relationships with pets and their families.

Please bring previous medical records, vaccination history, current medications, and any concerns or questions you’d like to discuss. We want your first visit to feel comfortable, smooth, and stress-free.

We do our best to accommodate urgent cases whenever possible. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us immediately so our team can help determine the best course of action.

A pet emergency is any situation where your pet is experiencing sudden illness, injury, or symptoms that could worsen quickly without immediate veterinary care. Call us right away if you notice any of the following:

  • Difficulty breathing or excessive coughing
  • Collapse, weakness, or inability to stand
  • Severe vomiting or diarrhea, especially with blood
Ingestion of toxins, medications, or foreign objects
  • Trauma (hit by a car, bite wounds, falls)
  • Seizures or sudden neurologic changes
  • Bloated or swollen abdomen
  • Trouble urinating or yelping when attempting to urinate
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sudden severe pain or distress

If you are ever unsure, it’s always safer to call — we can help assess the situation and guide you on whether your pet needs immediate care.

Pets age much faster than humans, and regular checkups help detect issues early — often before they show symptoms. Early diagnosis makes treatment more effective and helps your pet live a longer, healthier life.

Before surgery, we’ll guide you through fasting instructions, pre-anesthetic testing, and medication adjustments if needed. All patients receive customized anesthetic protocols and continuous monitoring for their safety and comfort. You are welcome to bring a toy or blanket from home they can keep with them throughout their day.

No. We are not a 24 hour facility. If your pet requires overnight care, you will transfer them to a 24 hour intensive care unit at one of the referral hospitals. We will transfer all of your pet’s medical information for a smooth continuum of care.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Debit, Cash, and Trupanion direct pay pet insurance. Payment is required at the time of service.
