COVID 19

The well being of our patients, clients and animal health team members is of top priority at Bayview Wellington Vet Clinic.  We want to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  The following are some short-term changes to our protocols.

Effective immediately are REDUCED HOURS OF OPERATION.  Call before coming, to make sure we are open for you.  Visits are by appointment only.  If you do not reach us by phone (905-503-7387), leave a phone message and/or an email message (info@bayviewwellingtonvet.ca) and one of us will get back to you within 24 hours.

Social distancing and other infection control measures:

1. No walk ins

Please do not walk into the clinic.  Call prior to visiting for any reason.  If you need food or medication refills, call first. We will take payment over the phone by credit card.  When arriving for pick up, you must call from your car and someone will bring your items out to the curb-side table for pick up.

2. Pets only

We admit pets into the clinic, but no family members.  Call us when you arrive in the parking lot.  Please have cats and small dogs in a carrier and for larger dogs, please have a leash that can be passed to us at arms-length reach.

3. No returns

Our suppliers have suspended all returns.  For the time being, we must have a no return policy.  All sales are final until further notice.

4. If you are affected by COVID-19 isolation protocols AND your pet is ill.

We can offer TELEMEDICINE consultations by phone to assist you.  Please call us at 905-503-7387 to find out more.

Call us at 905-503-7387 and we will help you with your requests and concerns. We have protocols in place to help you and your pet. This may mean that we will bring your pet into the clinic without you and will communicate with you via telephone.

Some of our suppliers are not working at full capacity and are back-logged.  Please expect that orders for food and medications may take a few days longer than normal.  Please make sure that you call at least a week prior to running out.
