Hollie: Registered Veterinary Technician
Hollie’s lifelong passion for animals ignited her journey to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Growing up surrounded by a menagerie, she fostered a love for creatures big and small. Alongside her supportive husband, she shares her home with two wise senior rescue cat Dora, and their perpetually playful golden retriever, August.
After earning distinction from St. Lawrence College’s Veterinary Technology program in 2004, Hollie dove into the world of animal care, joining the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT) and immersing herself in small animal practice. Tasha: Registered Veterinary Technician
Meet Tasha, our friendly and passionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! Tasha’s love for animals started young, thanks to her grandparents’ bustling farm. Growing up, she was surrounded by dairy cows, Standardbred horses, chickens, pigs, dogs, cats, and more. The farm was always lively, especially when the draft horses pulled sleighs in winter or helped collect maple syrup in the spring.
After graduating from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2012 and earning her RVT designation the same year, Tasha has been on a mission to provide top-notch care for all animals. She joined the BWVC family in November 2022 and has been a beloved team member ever since.
At home, Tasha enjoys the company of her pets: a charming cat named Dilbert, who sometimes visits the clinic to say hi to clients, and a sweet Mini Rex bunny named Willow. While she loves all animals, cats and bunnies hold a special place in her heart.
When she’s not at the clinic, Tasha loves exploring the great outdoors in Muskoka, camping, hiking, gardening, and spending time with friends. She can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends, bringing her blend of professional expertise and heartfelt care to ensure they get the best treatment possible.
Jin: Registered Veterinary Technician
Meet Jin, a compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) dedicated to the well-being of our furry companions. Graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2023 and completing the VTNE, Jin’s journey into the veterinary field was sparked by a childhood surrounded by animals.
Beginning as an animal care assistant in 2017, Jin’s passion for animal welfare continued to grow. Seeking to deepen their knowledge and gain more experience in animal care, Jin’s colleague recommended pursuing the RVT position—an opportunity that Jin eagerly embraced.
In the veterinary field, Jin finds joy in the constant learning and the opportunity to provide care for companion animals. Whether it’s assisting in surgeries, conducting lab tests, or offering compassionate support to both pets and their owners, Jin thrives in the dynamic environment of veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Jin enjoys spending quality time with their husband, building intricate LEGO sets and miniature houses. And of course, no relaxation time is complete without the company of their two beloved cats, who can often be found cuddling on the couch.
With a heart full of compassion and a dedication to lifelong learning, Jin is committed to ensuring the health and happiness of every animal they encounter.
